We are women in every season of life — gathering over Scripture, coffee, and creativity in the Youngstown, OH area. No pretending. No perfection. Just real women growing in Christ together.
Where It Began
It started with a
word from God.
Hey Sis! I'm Yanira — a woman with a heart for community and a deep love for Jesus. I'm building Bloom Where You Are Planted right here in the Youngstown, Ohio area with one big hope: to create a sisterhood rooted in Christ, no matter what season you're walking through.
Whether life feels full or heavy, whether you're celebrating or waiting, this is a space where you can show up as you are. We open God's Word together, pray for one another, and remind each other that we don't have to have it all figured out.
No pretending, no perfection — just sisters growing in faith, side by side.
We believe God meets us in our ordinary seasons and teaches us to take root, trust Him, and flourish — right here, right now. We want women to feel seen, supported, and rooted in Scripture so they can bloom in place, not after everything is perfect.

How We Got Here
A Word from God
It all started with a word from God — a quiet, unmistakable prompting placed on my heart. Before there was a name, a gathering, or even a plan, there was simply His voice. And by His grace, I said yes.
A Deep Longing for Sisterhood
For a long time, I longed for a community of women who could be real with one another — where faith wasn't just talked about but truly lived out together. That longing wasn't restlessness. It was a seed God was quietly tending.
Found in Michigan
God answered that longing in an unexpected place — outside of Ohio, in Michigan. Through Mya Worships Ministry, I found a community of women who loved Jesus deeply and welcomed me in. I grew in Christ, built real friendships, and experienced firsthand what it looks like when women gather with intention and purpose.
A Vision Brought to Life
The Lord placed it on my heart to bring that same kind of community back home — to Youngstown, where it was so deeply needed. That's when Bloom Where You Are Planted was born. Not a program, not a project — but a vision from God, carried by faith, and brought to life one woman at a time.

No perfect faith required. Every woman — wherever she is on her journey — has a seat at this table, no questions asked.

We believe friendship is a spiritual practice. We show up for each other in the ordinary and the hard, the joyful and the grief-filled.

We love Youngstown. We gather here, serve here, and believe God is doing something beautiful right here in our city.

We create space for real conversation. No performance, no rush. Just women being known and knowing others.

We believe prayer changes things. We pray for one another, for our city, and for the women who haven't found us yet.
